The Twitter Phenom

29 10 2008

I’ve been amazed by all the new Social Media content that’s been blasting it’s way through the internet today. Even PCWorld Magazine has a few page article explaining what twitter is and it’s uses and advantages of becoming a twitter phenom. It’s a simple an amazing way to ‘micro-blog’ your way to straight and to the point facts about what your doing. I registered with the Anthony Robbins Foundation as a Las Vegas Coordinator for this coming Thanksgiving Basket Brigade. Sites like, LinkedIn, Meetup.com, facebook, and Twitter helps me get the word out.there’s even a place called tweetup! haha. It’s all about efficiency and effectiveness these days. And even Nevada’s Early Voting is efficient and fast, no matter if you vote for Mccain or vote for Obama

With the world becoming smaller everyday thanks to sites like Google, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Meetup.com, and LinkedIn it’s easy to get caught up in the humdrum of daily life kind of forgetting and becoming robotic in nature. In a world that’s everchanging and uncertainty boils in times like these, the tools to quickly find oneself is key. So make sure to sit and relax in times like these. You never know what crazy idea you might come up with.

The Testing Grounds of Connection

23 07 2008

Steve Jackson, author of The Mentor & The Judas has a website entitled: Six Degrees of Seperation, a research project to see how more connected we are now that the internet has come about. Theory states that we are all connected by 6 degrees of separation. Meaning to say, we are all connected. The experiment was done through Facebook, “a kind of Internet-in-miniature”, Steve calls it. Do you think he contacted everyone in Facebook? Check his site out and decide for yourself. But here’s a little tid-bit taken from his website, “Whether we’re separated by six degrees or ten degrees or one degree isn’t important. What is important is the idea that we are connected.”
